ESPN is reporting Texas A&M officials approved a 10-year, $75 million dollar contract for Fisher. Fisher will be the second highest paid coach in college football, behind Alabama’s Nick Saban.
Fisher led Florida State to the national championship in 2013.
Earlier this week, Texas A&M fired coach Kevin Sumlin after the Aggies finished the regular season with a 7-5 record. Sumlin went 51-26 in his six seasons at A&M.
