HOUSTON (KIAH) — Houston Happens host is helping get you ready for the Thanksgiving holiday.

As you prep for your Thanksgiving feast, don’t forget the spirit of giving. We have a way you can give thanks and give back! From now until 7 p.m. we’re hosting our Annual Super Turkey Food Drive at the station.

You can stop by CW39 and make a donation, that will go directly to the city-wide food drive, to help feed those who are less fortunate, on Thanksgiving Day. Your donation will go to the annual Thanksgiving Day Super Feast.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, we’re celebrating from the Mayflower II in Plymouth, Massachusetts, ‘America’s Hometown’ and the Birthplace of Thanksgiving.

The Holidays are around the corner, and we all want to avoid hectic last-minute shopping. Elizabeth Werner, a Child Lifestyle Expert, is here to help us check gifts for the kids off our lists.

And Dr. Ejodamen Shobowale, fondly called Dr Sho is back to talk ingrown toenails. You’ll be extra thankful after you hear her advice.

That and more is headed your way on Houston Happens.
