HOUSTON – Authorities are investigating after a young woman was killed in a crash in northwest Houston.

Police say at around 4:30 a.m., the 21-year-old woman was driving eastbound on Louetta Road when she somehow veered off the road.

The woman went into a ditch and slammed into a drainage culvert.
