26 arrested for aggravated robbery of Harris County cell phone stores

HOUSTON, TX – More than 20 people face charges after Harris County deputies busted a massive theft ring.

Investigators say 24 adults and two juveniles are linked to more than a dozen aggravated robberies of cell phone stores in Harris County. Deputies say the suspects would walk into those stores, hold up the clerks at gunpoint and demand iPhones and cash.

In all, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office filed more than 54 charges against the suspects, ranging from aggravated robbery to engaging in organized criminal activity.
