Want to make a splash? With 26,000 acres and the only natural lake in the Lone Star State, Caddo Lake State Park is perfect for the person who loves to kayak or canoe.

History more your style? The 660-acre, Mission Tejas State Park near Grapeland got its name in 1693 when Spanish Franciscan Priests built the first Texas mission there.

For the more city-slicker type, Huntsville State Park is made for outdoor novices with a grocery and supply outpost on site and easy to navigate trails.
