HOUSTON, Texas -- Now this sounds like an "Uber Goode" idea! Houston's legendary barbecue masters, the Goode Company, have teamed up with the mobile-app-based transportation network "Uber" to help Houstonians gear up for rodeo season. They've partnered up to deliver piping-hot barbecue "on-demand" throughout H-town for one day only.

Beginning at 11am this morning, Uber users could order a box containing a brisket sandwich, side of BBQ sauce and a slice of pecan pie for just $15. The lunch taken to your doorstep or office by one of Uber's partner drivers.

That's right, great Texas taste coupled with convenience. But this partnership does more than just create awareness for alternate transportation. A portion of the proceeds go to a good cause, the Houston Food Bank.

Benefaction and barbecue, now that's what the Bayou City is all about!
