HOUSTON, TX – The second time in a week the south is gettin’ slammed with an arctic blast, and wasn’t it just 70 degrees, too.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch that’s supposed to kick in around 3 a.m. Tuesday.

Get ready for possible icy conditions and a wintry mix of snow and freezing rain.

Luckily, our first cold weather scare last week, has the Texas Department of Transportation extra prepared this time around.
