ST. LOUIS, MO - Big news is brewing in the land of beer. After decades of rivalry, Budweiser, Coors and Miller are about to come together. Anheuser-Busch Inbev says it will buy its main rival, SAB Miller, for a whopping, or should we say 'hopping', $104 billion.

It's a deal that would create the world's largest beer maker, by far. If the mega-merger 'goes down smooth,' it would bring nine of the world's 20 best-selling beer brands under one roof, with combined sales of $55 billion.

Anti-trust regulators might find this hard to swallow, though. You can bet they'll be looking at this deal with a magnifying glass. There are concerns that a mega-merger like this could wield way too much power in key markets, which would mean higher beer prices for beer lovers.

That would only lead to a bunch of bitter beer faces, and nobody wants that.
