HOUSTON, TX - Some say having a disability can be a real drag but for Alexis Nicole Whitney, it`s motivation. At the age of 22, Alexis contracted Brain and Spinal Meningitis. She was in a comma for two weeks and her heart stopped twice. When Alexis woke up she had lost all vision in her eyes but the vision of the future was never clearer.
