RIESEL, TX - Gerry Suttle, 75, has become something of a folk hero in her small town of Riesel, east of Waco. It started when the city summoned her to court for letting the grass on her property grow higher than 18 inches.

Suttle says she didn't get the court summons, so police issued a warrant for her arrest when she didn't show up.

Four brothers from the neighborhood pitched in to help Suttle out, mowing the lawn for free. It isn't clear yet if that settles the issue with the city. Regardless, Suttle says city officials need to "straighten their act up... before they go bailing off into something stupid."
