Carjacking victim shoots, kills suspect

HOUSTON, TX – A man stopped at McDonald’s, near the North Freeway and E. Little York Tuesday night, was minding his own business, renting a couple movies from the Redbox outside. Seconds after he got back into his car, he was attacked by two men and thrown on the ground.

Police said the men were apparently going after the victim’s car; but the carjacking victim was armed. He pulled out a gun and shot both men.

One died at the scene and the other one ran away wounded.

Police said a third suspect drove away in the getaway car.

The incident is being reviewed by the district attorney’s office, but charges are not expected to be filed against the shooter.

Sounds like a scene out of a movie he could have rented.
