FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colorado – Way out in space, where the stars twinkle bright, you can see all the lights that light up the night.
And this is the time that comes once a year, when bright-colored lights give us holiday cheer.
They twinkle, they glimmer, they give us great joys. They warm up the hearts of dads, moms, girls, and boys.
They also help Santa, they show him the way to get to our homes before Christmas Day.
Christmas lights have a message, a story, a point. So why do they light up a Denver strip joint?
Okay, it’s not Denver, it’s Federal Heights, the town with a strip joint with big Christmas lights.
The gentleman’s club won the city’s first prize for the best lights that light up the holiday skies.
They used light strips and an inflatable Claus, but no pole Dancer or Vixen to pull Santa Claus.
The lights made a tree as well as a “P”, and an 84 for everyone to see.
They also raised money, 12-hundred in pots, with something they like to call “Twerking for Tots.”
The prize money they won, they turned into toys, but only the ones fit for good girls and boys.
Now we come to the end, the meaning, the point: a Merry Christmas to all, even at a strip joint.
