LEDYARD, CT – It wasn’t your typical white wedding. For this Connecticut couple, thrills and frills were the furthest thing from their mind.

Megan Hunley and Brian Osborne tied the knot in front of the charred remains of their home after escaping the fiery blaze days before.

The couple lost all but one thing in the fire, Megan’s wedding ring!

Osborne was waiting for the right moment to propose, but after their near-death experience, he decided life was too short to wait.

So, surrounded by family and friends, sparks flew and the couple said “I do.”

Hey, maybe Elvis should have married them, we hear he has the perfect song.

This couple proves the vows are more important than the dress. You could even say their love was ignited by flames.
