Driver crashes into elderly woman’s NW Houston home

HOUSTON – A male driver is in now custody after crashing his car into an elderly woman’s home in northwest Houston.

It happened around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mackensie and Rogue River. Officials say the driver lost somehow lost control and slammed into the corner of the house.

The elderly woman was not hurt.

The driver was arrested on the scene.

Police believe alcohol may be a factor.
