CAIRO, EGYPT – The ancient Egyptians made major advances in architecture, art and technology. Their crowning achievements, of course, being the Giza Pyramids and Great Sphinx. It’s a civilization wise beyond their years.

So, it’s not a huge stretch to think that the Egyptians could be the ones to conquer one of the greatest medical mysteries known to man.

Their army claims it has invented a cure for AIDS.

But wait! There’s more!

The army says it has also found a cure for hepatitis C, and has had a success rate of an astonishing 100%.

Major General Ibrahim Abdel-Atti says Egyptian scientists have been working for 22 years to create a ‘Complete Cure Device.’

It supposedly draws blood from a patient, breaks down the disease and returns the purified blood back to the body.

As for hepatitis C, they’ve developed a device that can detect the disease from across the room.

According to the World Health Organization, Egypt has the world’s highest prevalence of hepatitis C.

An estimated 20% of blood donors test positive for it.

The country’s HIV infection rate is less than 1%.

A cure for these two deadly diseases would be cause for celebration around the world, but the global scientific community is highly skeptical.
