HARRIS COUNTY, TX – Two women were lucky to escape from a northwest Harris County home after an electrical fire quickly spread through the house.

Little York crews got the call around midnight. They say it was a tough fire to fight because of its location in the attic and the fact that it spread through the home’s walls, causing significant damage.

“They won’t be able to stay here tonight,” said Little York deputy chief Don Gilkey. “The house is unlivable, but we do have Red Cross en route to the scene.”
