MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX – Getting sick this time of year blows, but ’tis the season to be sickly which is why the flu-shot commercials run on a loop, and there’s always a line at the pharmacy.

In fact, The Public Health District says there have been 1,920 Influenza-like-illnesses within Montgomery County during 2013 Flu Season, alone. So, it wasn’t exactly breaking news when eight people (Ranging in age from 41-68) checked into a local hospital with serious flu like symptoms. Until four of them died from serious complications!

Even scarier? All of them have tested negative for common flu strains.

So, doctors are trying to figure out the ‘who, what, why, when, where, and how’ about the mystery-illness; and make sure it doesn’t spread.

Stay healthy NewsFixers, and if ya sneeze somethin’, spray somethin’,  you know the symptoms!
