OKLAHOMA CITY, OK - We've got an update for you about the fraternity scandal that rocked the University of Oklahoma two weeks ago. The Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity was shut down and two of its members expelled from school for leading a racist chant on a party-bound charter bus. It was all caught on camera and it took the internet by storm.

One of the members who was expelled is 21-year-old Texas native Levi Pettit. Late Wednesday afternoon, he apologized publicly for the first time about his actions. Prior to his public statement, Levi sat down privately with Oklahoma Senator Anastasia Pittman, civic leaders and local pastors.

Actions do speak louder than words and we can only hope that Levi's apology is a step forward in the long journey of healing and forgiveness.
