WASHINGTON, D.C. - With each passing day, Hillary Clinton is looking more and more like the Democratic nominee for President. But the FBI is also looking more and more closely at her emails, investigating whether she broke the law by using a private server at her home during her time as Secretary of State.

Authorities want to know if Mrs. Clinton compromised classified information by having it pass through her home server, potentially exposing it to hackers.

This week, a notorious Russian hacker, awaiting trial, claimed he hacked into Clinton's server, but officials say a FBI investigation found no evidence. The feds are planning to question Clinton in the coming weeks, though a date has not been set.

Investigators have already grilled many of Mrs. Clinton's top aides, including longtime adviser Huma Abedin. So far, authorities have not found any signs that the former secretary of state willfully violated the law. Questioning Mrs. Clinton will be one of the final steps in the investigation.

Time will tell if Clinton keeps her cool and keeps her presidential hopes alive.
