WASHINGTON D.C. – Hobby Lobby is always crafting something. New legislation is their project du jour.
The decor store and furniture chain Conestoga Wood Specialties made oral arguments in front of the Supreme Court on Tuesday morning.
At issue is a part of Obamacare, specifically, the stipulation that companies of a certain size must offer insurance benefits — including birth control and other reproductive health services — without a co-pay. That goes against the personal beliefs of these stores’ owners.
A decision is expected in June.
