Houston is the most walkable city in Texas

HOUSTON, TX – Did you hear Houston? It’s officially time to get out of your cars put on a comfortable pair of shoes and start walking.

Walkscore.com says Houston is the most walkable of large cities in the Lone Star state.

The best areas to walk are Montrose, Greenway and Midtown because it’s easy to find amenities within walking distance of each other. Are you getting it now?

Dallas and Austin came in at 30 and 31 in the nation where as the bayou city beat them both at 23.

The most walkable cities in the country are New York, San Francisco and Boston. Which are barely even on the list of fattest cities. Houston has held that title since last year.
