HOUSTON, TX – Tired of getting hit on every time you walk in a club? Does all that EDM (electronic dance music) make your head T-H-R-O-B? Maybe it’s time to try a British pub. Houston’s got some of the coziest ones around, according the folks at Houstonia magazine.

The Richmond Arms is a favorite haunt for soccer fans, who flock there to watch the “footy matches” while tossing back a pint. Many ex-pats consider it the most authentic British pub in town. Pub manager Michelle Gray says despite their offering 90 different beers on tap, their biggest seller is Miller Lite.

Other favorite pubs chosen include the Black Labrador, McGonigel’s Mucky Duck, the Bull & Bear Tavern and the Bayview Duck on Hwy. 146.

For a full list including what makes each unique, check out this month’s Houstonia magazine.
