HOUSTON - The Paralympic Games begin in less than a week.

But before the opening ceremonies Sept. 7, the U.S. Paralympians are making their way to Houston for team processing.

"There's a lot of pride here in Houston, it's the gateway to Rio basically," 7-time Paralympian Allison Jones said. "I'm glad Houston opened up their arms so we could be here."

More than 280 athletes will be processed in Houston with the final day being Sept. 5.
