HOUSTON, TX – After a morning run or an afternoon errand, no one ever wants to return to find their car has been broken into. A break-in is violating, it’s expensive, and it’s your stuff.

So, the Houston Police Department parked a car at Memorial Park to show Houstonians just how quick and easy a smash and grab can be.

Senior Police Officer, Jay Roberts, say it takes crooks about 6 seconds to break in and take your goodies. The Bayou City criminals like it quick and dirty, apparently.

Long story short, it doesn’t take long for you to be on the short end of the robbery stick!
