HOUSTON, TX - Houston Police are looking for the man who allegedly pulled a shotgun on his family Thursday night. Just after 9 p.m., officers got a call about a disturbance at a home on Vanderford Dr. in southwest Houston. That's where police say a family squabble escalated when a man pointed that shotgun at a family member.

When officers got to the home, the suspect locked himself in the bathroom and refused to communicate with them. That's when HPD called in the SWAT team, but that had little effect.

"It appears that the suspect managed to exit the house prior to SWAT arriving and securing the perimeter," said HPD spokesman Victor Senties.

A warrant has been issued for the suspect's arrest.
