WORLD – How many of you are hitting the gym as part of your New Year’s resolution?

Well you might want to change up your workout playlist.

Forget that loud fast paced pump it up pop, there’s actually a different kind of music that can get you more out of your workout.

According to a new study listening to classical music not only helps you exercise harder and longer, it also helps keep your body relaxed.

That means lower heart rate, lower blood pressure, and your body doesn’t feel as tired.

Researchers also say the ideal workout song is the fourth movement of Beethoven’s Symphony number four.

Time to bend it like Beethoven.
