CHARLOTTESVILLE, Virgina -- Jesse Matthew is the man captured in Galveston suspected of abducting 18-year-old University of Virginia student Hannah Graham.

Now, he's being linked to the 2009 disappearance of Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington.

Police say forensic evidence ties Matthew to Harrington, but they're not saying much more than that.

Apparently, the 20-year old disappeared after a Metallica concert in October 2009.

Sadly, her remains were found on a farm a few months later.

Sources told police Matthew had some sort of contact with Harrington the night she disappeared.

As for Hannah Graham, she's still missing. The last time she was seen was on surveillance video about two weeks ago, behind a mall hanging out with Matthew.

As investigators continue to piece things together, Matthew is behind bars in Virginia.

Two tragic crimes and will they prove to have one common link? Time will tell.
