Katy, TX  -- 30 mile per hour winds made it difficult for fire fighters to contain a house fire in Katy. The house off of Highland Knolls caught on fire around one this morning.

Crews had to call in for back-up due to the strong winds. At one point over 60 firefighters were battling the blaze so it wouldn't spread to nearby houses.

Fortunately no one was home at the time, but the family is devastated after coming home to find this.

Firefighters are now looking into the cause.
