ROSENBERG, TX – This holiday season is turning out to be very green.

The Mega Millions jackpot is now over half a billion dollars and since 70% of tickets are bought the day of the drawing, the money could increase to become the largest pot in U.S. history. The odds of winning are 1 in 259 million; but the customers who come from all over the Houston area to Rudy’s Stop and Shop in Rosenberg aren’t worried about the odds.

As one customer put it,”It’s the number one seller in the whole state so I figure my best chance of winning has to be here.”

This store is very lucky says a variety of customers; and who doesn’t need a little luck when trying to win a half a billion dollar jackpot?

People aren’t intimidated by the overwhelming odds saying they are willing to take that chance.

Here’s the deal, no one cares about the odds. You’re willing to risk your money for a chance at making your dreams a reality. If no one’s dream come true; the pot will rollover to what could be a $1 billion Christmas Eve drawing, yes a very green Christmas indeed.
