HOUSTON, TX - A man was found shot and killed in the middle of a northeast Houston apartment complex and now police are looking for his killer.

Just after 10 p.m. on Tuesday, officers got a call about a disturbance at the complex near N. Wayside Dr. and Tidwell Rd. When they got to the scene, they discovered a man who'd been shot dead in the parking lot with no sign of the shooter.

"It looks like the victim may have known his assailant, so right now we don't have any reason to think this was a stranger-on-stranger crime," said David Williamson, HPD homicide investigator.

Officers say they're interviewing witnesses and others connected to the scene to see if they can find the shooter.
