An armed robbery suspect is on the run after shooting a man in southeast Houston early Wednesday morning.
Around 4:15 a.m., the victim was on his way home from a store near Broadway Street and Ithaca Street when the suspect confronted him. The man held the victim at gunpoint, demanding his wallet. But after he got it, he shot the victim twice, once in the leg and once in the wrist.
The victim is expected to survive; he's in Ben Taub right now.
