Motorcyclist dies in crash two weeks after buying bike

HOUSTON — A motorcyclist died Wednesday after crashing in northeast Houston.

According to Houston police,  a man was speeding on his motorcycle on Aldine Bender around 8 p.m. when a car pulled out in front of him. The motorcyclist, who was in his 20s, crashed into the car and died on impact.

Police say he purchased the bike about two weeks ago.

The driver of the car is in stable condition.

Police say both parties are at fault for the crash.
