It’s the moment, many women dream of. When the love of your life pops the question! And what’s the first thing you do, hopefully say yes, and then take a selfie of course.
But are your hands selfie ready?
We’ve all seen the pics on social media of brides-to-be showcasing their new wedding bling. And that has some taking extreme measures to make sure their engagement selfies are picture perfect. More and more women are turning to plastic surgery to make their hands look younger.
“We can use the filler materials to either camouflage the visible tendons or veins in the hands,” says plastic surgeon Dr. John Borkowski.
Docs can inject Restalyne or Juvaderm to make hands appear more youthful.
So would you say “I Do” to this new selfie surgery trend? I say “I Don’t”. First of all a selfie shouldn’t be the first thing that comes to your mind after you just said yes to a future with someone. Second, the money could be used towards the wedding budget. And third if you don’t have self-love maybe you’re not ready to fully love another person. The only thing I suggest is make sure you have a good manicure to showcase that bling. Otherwise say “I Don’t” to plastic surgery.
