Why exercise when you can prancercise?!
It’s bikini season and that means it’s time to trot yourself into shape. Well now you can do that…literally! It’s an oldie but a goodie…Prancercise.
60-yr-old Joanna Rohrback invented Prancercising 25 years ago. But for some reason no one really heard about it until recently. It may look like horseplay but Joanna describes it as, “a springy rhythmic movement forward similar to a horse’s gait, ideally induced by elation.”
There are four modes of Prancercising, most of them done with ankle weights. Joanna says it is great cardio, low impact on the body, and not to mention lots of fun.
Before you say “neigh” Joanna got “horsenses” about her. It’s actually a good workout. But be prepared to take people’s strange looks in stride.
