HOUSTON -- There have been at least six robberies at local Cricket cell phone stores in recent weeks, along with one at a Boost Mobile.

Police say the three suspects walk into stores, act like they're customers, and then things take a turn: 'One guy locked the door from the inside and just did whatever they want to do,' says Cricket store manager Zeeshan Mirza.

Typically that means taking cash from the register and stealing the store's supply of new phones.

At this point, police are hoping that making some noise about the robberies will help break the case. Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Robbery Division at 713-308-0700 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
