THE VATICAN – When Pope Francis isn’t taking selfies with adoring fans, or showing up on the cover of Rolling Stone, he’s preaching fire and brimstone to the masses.

The new pope has been making new friends for the Catholic Church with his stance on inclusion and forgiveness.

But folks who study papal preaching say Francis is old school when it comes to Satan. They say the pope has spent more time preaching about Satan’s presence on earth than his recent predecessors.

Some point to a possible exorcism last year, and his call-out to the International Association of Exorcists for helping people who suffer as further proof that Pope Francis practices what he preaches.

The pope may want to take notice of some students from the Harvard Extension School who will hold a satanic black mass despite protests from Catholics and university leaders.

Christians in china don’t need the pope to tell them that evil is afoot.

The Chinese government earlier this month tore down this massive church in the coastal Chinese city nicknamed the Jerusalem of the East because of its large Christian population.

The $4.7 million church took 12 years to build, but less than two weeks to destroy.

Local Chinese official claimed the building was too big.

Apparently, size matters, even to Satan.
