CHICAGO - Got an old pair of Air Jordans or fancy sneakers in your closet?  There might be a way to turn those antique rubber soles into cold cash.

From online to in line, people are paying thousands for old sneakers that have been restored.

You might be shocked to see a restored old pair of Kanye West's Yeezy shoes are running between $2,500 and $5,000.

For the Red Star Cobbler in Chicago, shoe repair is big business.  About half of the company's revenue comes from reviving the soles of sporty tennis shoes and giving them new life.
