San Antonio rapper accused of murdering bandmate

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – We’ve heard of the east coast/west coast hip hop rivalry, but a rap rivalry in the south ended deadly. Christopher Garza, 31, is part of the San Antonio rap group, The Hooligan Boyz. He’s behind bars now on a murder charge, accused of killing his own band mate, Miguel Silva.

The group was in Corpus Christi for a show when police say a fight broke out at the hotel the group was staying at. When police arrived, Silva was unresponsive and later died at the hospital. Police are waiting to see the hotel security video.
