Shrimp boat fire at Seabrook

The weather is getting warmer! That means pool parties, the beach, barbeques…

But what happened Friday morning near Galveston probably isn’t the kind of barbeque a group of boaters had in mind.

Their shrimp boat caught fire in the Gulf of Mexico.

Three people escaped unharmed and were picked up by the nice folks in a nearby sister shrimp boat.

The U.S. Coast Guard and Seabrook Fire Department jumped into action pretty quickly, and the day was saved.
