TROLLHATTAN, SWEDEN – It could have been a school in any town in America, but it wasn’t. It was a school in Trollhattan, Sweden where police say a masked man carrying a sword killed a teacher and student.

And, apparently, he posed for pictures with students before he stabbed the teacher.

The man wore black clothing resembling a Nazi uniform. He also wore a helmet and was playing Halloween-type music. Swedish authorities say the attack occurred around 10 o’clock local time in the cafeteria area.

A Swedish newspaper reports that a girl took a photo of the man before the attacks. She said her friends asked to be photographed with him because they thought it was joke.

A teacher came out and told the man to move on because he was scarring the kids. That’s when he stabbed the teacher in the side.

He ended up stabbing another teacher and two students before police shot him.

One teacher and one student died, along with the masked attacker, reported to be a 21-year-old man from Trollhattan.

About 400 students attend the school, ranging from kindergarten age to 16.

Unlike the US, school attacks in Sweden are rare with just one in the past 20 years when a student was shot.

Now, local police are trying to figure why a local man would do what he did in the way that he did it.
