CHICKASHA, OK – Makenzie Wethington, 16, is recovering after a near-fatal skydiving accident in Oklahoma.

The Fort Worth teen went skydiving for the first time with her dad. A life-long dream, that quickly turned into a nightmare.

As she was falling somehow her parachute malfunctioned, causing her to crash to the ground.
