HOUSTON - The Houston Texans are off to a good start as they improved to 2-0 on the season after their 19-12 win over the Kansas City Chiefs. It was a small bit of revenge for the team who knocked out of last season's postseason.

The Texans relied on a solid defensive effort that limited the Chiefs to just four field goals.

Meanwhile, the Texans offense showed some flash. Again, rookie Will Fuller V showed what he was capable off by taking the top of the defense to catch a 53-yard reception in the first quarter. He bobbled that pass and regained possession, but the Texans would not score because Brock Osweiler would be picked off in the endzone just three plays later. Fuller finished the day with over 100 yards again as he hauled in four catches for 104 yards. DeAndre Hopkins continued his stellar play as he scored his second touchdown of the season and had 113 yards on seven receptions.

Osweiler was effective for most of the day but he did throw two costly interceptions. He did throw for 268 yards and the touchdown strike to Hopkins.

Lamar Miller broke 100 yards last week but he was contained to 83 yards on 25 carries on Sunday.

The Texans will have a short week before traveling to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots on Thursday night in a clash of two undefeated teams.
