HOUSTON, TX - After all the controversy and hype, surrounding the interview, the movie about the assassination attempt on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, the film is showing; though limited to several hundred independent theaters across the country, including Alamo Drafthouse cinemas.

After some backlash and even a comment from president Obama, Sony chose not to back down to North Korea's bullying.

For those who don't want to see it on the big screen, or may be concerned about terror threats, the movie is available online.

Seth Rogan even made an appearance in an L.A. theater to thank movie goers.

If it wasn't for theaters like this, and for people like you guys, this literally wouldn't be happening right now," said Rogan.

As theatres start welcoming fans curious about the movie, we'll know soon enough if all the drama was worth it.
