NEW YORK, NY – From the Virginia’s through New England, the National Weather Service says three to nine inches of snow are on the way. The entire eastern half of the country is shivering with temperatures ten to 25 degrees below average.

You know the deal with this stuff. Some 3,000 domestic flights are cancelled, and more than 4,000 are delayed.  Philadelphia, New York and New Jersey are getting hit the worst, but Chicago is in tough shape too.

Adding insult to injury for our Northern comrades, there is a propane gas shortage in many states. Almost 20 governors have declared energy emergencies to loosen gas restrictions.

The polar vortex is over. But winter (apparently) is not.
