tsaWASHINGTON, DC – Did you get the message? A new TSA security measure is going to create more delays for passengers – and perhaps terrorists – coming to the U.S. from overseas. Screeners will start checking cell phones, laptops and other gadgets to make sure they’re working devices and not bombs.

Homeland security has ordered a step up in security at some airports abroad.

Why? Because those crazy jihadists that are taking over part of Iraq and Syria might not know anything about peaceful dialogue, but they certainly know how to put explosives in cell phones.

So, U.S.-bound travelers: make sure you have a charged battery next time you go through security. Because a phone that’s not working… is a phone they’ll take away. Oh, man! We used to complain about those dreaded pat downs; but now they’re gonna get to keep our steamy selfies too.
