BAD HERSFELD, GERMANY – You can say a thief has sticky fingers, but in Germany we mean it in a much more literal sense.

Police say thieves made off with 5.5 tons of Nutella, the chocolate hazelnut spread.

The thieves stole the sweet treat from inside a parked trailer that was loaded up with the stuff. The load is estimated to be worth somewhere around $30,000.

Apparently German thieves have a thing for stealing stuff you can eat and drink. German authorities say a while back, bandits made off with a load of energy drinks from the same location.
