TOKYO, JAPAN – Harsh lighting and tight spaces are just a few of the reasons women hate dressing rooms.

What if you could skip that awful experience and take those clothes for a test drive before you buy?

Tokyo-based Gu is letting customers do just that!

Here’s how it works: pick out the clothes you like, and put in a request for a test drive. Then, leave the store!

How is that not shoplifting?

The store says customers must return the same day and decide to make the purchase or not, although, we have no idea how they prevent people from leaving and never coming back!

You also have to wonder if the store washes the clothes that are returned, because there’s no telling where they’ve been!

An interesting concept, none the less.

We’ll have to wait and see if any other stores will continue this fashion-forward trend.
