Tropical Storm Dolly headed to Mexico

HOUSTON, TX – A tropical storm is expected to come down hard on Mexico.

“It's going to provide some heavy rains there and possibly mudslides,” says our Sci Guy Eric Berger.

Berger says things won't be too wet and wild for us (though it may be choppier-than-usual in Galveston). Still, he says we should sit-tight til late September.

“Interestingly the Atlantic hurricane season peeks around September 11, the next three weeks are when people really need to be dialed-in because the Gulf is open for business in terms of hurricanes, the winds are warm enough.”
