BOSTON, MA – Twins don’t necessarily need to have a lot in common.

A pair in Massachusetts is pretty unique. Alexandre Antunes is actually more than three weeks older than bro, Ronaldo. It all started when mom, Linda DaSilva, went into labor 24 weeks into her pregnancy. Doctors tried to stop her contractions, but four days later Alexandre still showed up.

So doctors put baby number one in intensive care, and told mom and dad to consider letting baby number two cook for a little longer in the womb.

They call it a “delayed twin delivery,” and apparently it works. 24 days later Ronaldo was born a full pound heavier than his brother.
