LEESBURG, VA – The Cajun Experience is one of many businesses offering customers a discount for defending their second amendment right – with it’s “Open Carry Wednesday” promotion. Anyone carrying their 9mm, or any other kind of gun, gets 10% off their bill.

Chew on this though. Considering the state of Virginia is a permissive open carry state, which means basically anyone can carry a weapon with or without a license or permit, is this defensive discount a recipe for disaster?

The owner of The Cajun Experience, Bryan Crosswhite, hung a sign reminding any carrying-customers to, “Keep all firearms holstered unless the need arises…” and if the need does arise? Well the sign says, “… judicious marksmanship is greatly appreciated by all.”

Yeah, gratuity is appreciated too, but that doesn’t mean people always leave a tip.
